Sanitation Technician-Food Manufacturing

SUMMARYWe are looking for qualified candidates responsible for Maintaining cleanliness and health standards, ensuring the facility is up to code and running efficiently.
Responsible for performing sanitation programs in food processing.
Performs and leads in executing sanitation policies; and audits and inspects premises, products, and equipment daily for unsanitary practices, conditions, and adherence and conformity to company sanitation policies, protocols, and plant standards.
Reports irregularities or issues and implements corrective actions.
Hours:
All ShiftsEducation:
A high school degree or equivalent is required, and 2-3 years of experience in production or sanitation in the food/dietary supplement processing industry is preferred.
Significant experience with CIP/COP systems preferred.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, proportions, and decimals.
Ability and understanding of various measuring such as weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools, and controls.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
