Utah and Salt Lake County PAY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE Summary Superintendents are responsible for the daily operations of their assigned job sites.
They are responsible for overseeing and directing Subcontractors, Vendors, and the Project Management Team to meet all deadlines established for each project schedule.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly project schedules to meet project deadlines - Coordination between all subcontractors and vendors - Verifies all work by Subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements - Procurement and production of materials - Equipment usage and maintenance - Manage Quality Control for each jobsite - Attend weekly project meetings and interface with all project stakeholders - Works closely with city officials in requesting and coordinating application inspections - Complete Daily Construction Reports - Complete Daily Paperwork in the format required for the given job.
(Example - Procore) - Conduct weekly safety meetings and keeps current paperwork associated with it.
- Maintains an OSHA approved site.
- Attends Office Safety meetings
Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum of related working experience as a Superintendent.
- Possesses strong computer skills.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and ability to learn Project management software.
- Ability to effectively lead and manage subcontractors, vendors, and project team.
- Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Customers, Subcontractors, City Inspectors, and Building Officials.
- Knowledge and understanding of work orders, change orders, safety standards, plans, specifications, shop drawings, blue prints, submittals, manufactures literature, contract documents and specifications, schedules, and reports.
- Understand construction schedules, sequencing, and cost control.
- Attention to detail, organized, and the ability to multitask.
- Willing to work nights and weekends.
(Although rare) - Drivers license with clean driving record.
- Ability to read and understand/direct work indicated in a set of plans and specifications - Receives an OSHA 30 Certificate.
