Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with restaurant and hospitality managers to provide service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other specialty food service equipment.
Demonstrating your mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills while reading diagrams and schematics to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves physical tasks, including:
Frequently kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and occasionally lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds.
Working with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and a risk of electrical shock in various environmental conditions.
Working on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places.
Minimum
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Willingness and ability to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, which may include nights and weekends.
Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
