Financial Analyst Job Summary Prepares financial reports conducts special projects and provides financial analysis to all levels of management.

Essential Functions Prepares and interprets management information and other financial reports.
Analyzes financial documents statistical data historical data and presents to and interprets for management.
Audits accounting systems reconciles data and resolves technical problems or recommends solutions when appropriate.
Perform grant and contract related accounting including monthly close reconciliations and schedules required to support the internalexternal reporting process.
Analyzes trends and possible consequences.
Recommends and implements improvements that affect accounting systems and departmental operations.
Prepare and monitor departmental budget.
Oversee and prepare travel journal entries purchasing and inventory.
Administrative tasks such as managing conferences ordering supplies and picking up mail.
Other adhoc tasks as needed.
This position will be hybrid with of the time working in the office and of the time in working remotely.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Accounting Healthcare Administration or a related field or equivalency one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience plus two years of related experience.
Also required are a thorough knowledge of established accounting principles and practices spreadsheet and database skills knowledge of statistics and demonstrated analytical problem solving human relation and effective communication skills required.
An advanced degree such as a Masters of Business Administration is preferred.
Certain positions may require familiarity with hospital billing systems Medicare and insurance reimbursement regulations etc.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
