Part-time Internship 10 hours ago Full Job Description Position Information The AmeriCorps member in this role will serve as a Marketing Specialist with NeighborWorks Salt Lake.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is committed, willing to be challenged, and passionate about community.
The Marketing Specialist will work as part of the Community Building and Engagement team to help develop marketing plans and processes for the organization.
This position will create all marketing materials for all departments and be lead the development of a comprehensive marketing and outreach plan and process development.

AmeriCorps is a unique service opportunity.
AmeriCorps members complete a term of service from March 2023 through February 2024.
Members will serve a minimum of 900 hours during this time, approximately 19 hours per week.
AmeriCorps members will receive a living allowance of $10,500 during their term of service.
This living allowance will be paid bi-monthly.
Additionally, upon successful completion of a term of service, AmeriCorps members will receive an education award of $3,247.

Thriving Utah is an AmeriCorps State program designed to support local nonprofits and public agencies in increasing their organizational capacity.
Thriving Utah AmeriCorps members create and execute a capacity building plan tailored to their organization's needs, services, and goals.
Duties and responsibilities Works with senior-level staff to conceptualize and implement short-term and long-term marketing and outreach plans and strategies for NeighborWorks Salt Lake Programs and events.
Develops organization-wide marketing plans, strategies, and processes.
Collect, manage, and report on data and statistics that measure the success of social media and public relations efforts.
Identifies and effects changes required for improvement Updates and creates content for NeighborWorks Salt Lake social media accounts and website Participates in outreach initiatives in collaboration with the NeighborWorks Salt Lake, including tabling at community events, networking online and in-person, media appearances, and attending NeighborWorks Salt Lake programs Development metrics for reporting on online presence and hits Edit/Review meeting notes & agendas Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications Organized, creative, and passionate about all stages of planning and marketing Strong time management and communication skills, both verbal and written Exceptional people skills/relationship-building skills A team player with leadership skills Able to work some nights, and weekends Self-starter that can work on multiple projects independently without supervision Bachelor's Degree preferred in marketing, communications or similar field Proficient with Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint Graphic design skills a plus Strong knowledge of Canva Spanish Speaking a plus Must have a valid drivers license and provide own transportation EEOC AmeriCorps and NeighborWorks Salt Lake provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
