The role of the Marketing Coordinator is to support the Client Services team's mission of driving revenue through innovative approaches to marketing, sales, business development, service delivery and client experiences.
The Marketing Coordinator helps the team to achieve its short- and long-term goals through a commitment to excellence in our work products and services.
Essential Duties/
Responsibilities:
The Marketing Coordinator will divide his or her time supporting the needs of their assigned practice group(s) and Client Services team projects as assigned.
Responsibilities include:
Assists with client research and the creation of materials for Requests for Proposals and client pitches.
Assists with assembling and sending client alerts and practice/industry group newsletters.
Maintains and updates practice group and industry group mailing lists using the firm's CRM.
Creates and maintains a calendar of internal and external practice group and industry group events.
Coordinates practice group and industry group sponsorships (tracking, registration, processing payments, list management, promotional materials, etc.
).
Helps to coordinate submissions for awards and recognition on individual attorney, industry group and practice group basis.
Supports events, including scheduling and planning, invitations, tracking attendees, and day-of-event logistics and coordination.
Coordinates marketing collateral with marketing managers and graphic design team.
Updates attorney profiles for website, social media, and industry group organizations.
Assists attorneys to prepare PowerPoint and other presentation materials Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
Two to four years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment preferred.
BA or BS degree required.
Focus on marketing or communications preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Office 365 preferred.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work assignments under tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success.
Team-oriented attitude and commitment to be an active participant in firm culture.
