Part Time Paralegal/Medical Records Assistant - URGENT HIRE

Eric Nielson Associates a plaintiff medical malpractice firm located in Holladay is seeking a PARTTIME paralegal.
Responsibilities include but are not limited toRequest medical records from clients and providers follow up on review medical records and prepare them for case evaluation.
Collect and calculate special damages for certain cases.
Request employment tax school records.
Review and ensure a complete set of records has been obtained by our office.
Maintain liens for cases that have them often negotiating liens down and working directly with lien holders.
Prepare subpoenas to obtain various kinds of records.
Prepare correspondence with opposing counsel to obtain records and to identify missing documentation.
Perform any necessary paralegal tasks that require assistance including office errands.
Filing answering phones and other office related tasks as needed.
Offer support to other paralegals and attorneys with anything they need.
Interested applicants must be extremely detailed oriented dependable responsible and organized.
Efficiency and accuracy is a must with this position.
This position is roughly hours per week.
Flexible schedule definitely an option.
The only thing we request is to be somewhat consistent with your schedule.
Pay commensurate with experience.
This position has the ability to be very flexible whereas a fulltime paralegal position is often not.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
