Reporting to the Associate Director for Communications Assessment this position provides a crossfunctional approach to marketing and data assessment.
The Marketing Data Coordinator assists the communications assessment team with the collection analysis interpretation and reporting of data related to residents and their families experience while living on campus.
The Marketing Data Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the highest level of data integrity preparing and sharing reports and assisting staff with analyzing data for both the housing and residential education teams withinHRE.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

Provide oversight forHREassessment initiatives in alignment with HREs and Student Affairs strategic plans.
Coordinate the updating of retentiongraduation rates and other traditional outcome studies.
Gather and analyze survey data related to student needs and satisfaction o Write and create assessment projects through the development of surveys focusgroups interviews and other means of data collection.
o Compile and interpret quantitative results in mean and frequency tables and conduct qualitative analysis on openended question responses.
o Compile and analyze direct evidence of student learning and development via observation or inperson interviews or focus groups and indirect evidence of student learning via surveys performance of activities assessment of curriculum etc.
o Translate complex data into clear and understandable information through the development of reports including the creation of tables graphs narratives of study project goals and other data visualization strategies.
o Analyze data to inform key stakeholders of key insights and results and offer solutions to increase resident satisfaction.
Manage daytoday assessment procedures to maintain the highest level of data integrity.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with campus colleagues within Assessment Analytics AA and The Office of Budget Institutional Analysis OBIA.
Coordinate with the full marketing team to develop tracking measures and parameters of communications and advertising campaigns and report out on findings including website social media and tour data.
Advise and assist staff members acrossHREdepartment with assessment initiatives.
Coordinates special projects from department by identifying potential data sources gathering needed data and providing situational analyses.

Two years experience in collecting organizing analyzing and presenting data and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.
Department Specific Qualifications Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
Experience with surveying software and advanced knowledge of survey research practices and analysis.
Experience preparing reports and graphic illustrations of findings using data visualization strategies and tools.
Experience creating slide decks and presenting information to individuals and groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
