Landlord Outreach Specialist

The Landlord Outreach Specialist identifies housing units in the rental market throughout Salt Lake County develop partnerships with landlords to overcome barriers that prevent households from obtaining housing maintain an uptodate listing of available units and work closely with case managers to ensure clients can access housing.
This position requires creative thinking to engage with clients and landlords with the highest level of customer service.

per hour.

Follow up with landlordsproperty managers to resolve concerns or issues.
Continuously build network of landlords by reaching out to new landlords to educate them on the services provided by the Landlord Outreach Team.

Perform intakes with households that have housing subsidy and need assistance finding suitable available apartments.
Follow up with existing landlordsproperty managers to ensure high level of customer services Organize and participate in landlord events in the community Enter data and maintain landlord database to ensure each landlord is utilized fully Research prepare and present written and verbal reports of moderate complexity to management.
Coordinate with community partners and collaborate both internally and externally.
Proven ability to work as a team and independently accurately and detailed in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.
Bachelors Degree in business administration management social science or a related field or similar field two years experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions or any equivalent combination of education training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge skills and abilities for this position.
Ability to work well with other employees residents and the public under varying circumstances.
Ability to relate and communicate with persons from all socioeconomic ethnic and racial backgrounds.
Maintain and enhance linage and partnerships with various community partners in order to build effective collaboration.
Exceptional organizational skills attention to detail timemanagement skills and motivation to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn follow and apply a system of complex regulations policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to interpret and implement policies procedures and regulations.
Ability to follow instructions and make decisions in accordance with policies procedures and regulations.
Advanced computer skills to create reports and submit data to grant providers.
Valid UT drivers license and insurable with HASLC on a continuing basis.
Preferred Education and Experience SpanishEnglish bilingual.
Work Environment Travel is required and primarily local.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand walk use hands and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to pounds.
