Intake Specialist
As the initial contact for our potential clients the Intake Specialist plays an important role in setting the groundwork for a successful professional relationship.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing professional and charismatic and who enjoys helping our fellow humans.
Previous experience with Social Security Disability is preferred but not required.
This is a work from home position.
No zoom required.
Computer monitor and phone will be provided.
Onsite training at our Murray UT office will be required for weeks.
Conduct phone evaluations with potential clients to determine eligibility for benefits.
Provide information about the Social Security process and our office.
Obtain signed representation paperwork from client.
Document client medical information for submission to Social Security.
Review new packets for accuracy.
Create new client files.
File Social Security applications and appeals.
Maintain a positive professional and upbeat attitude when speaking with clients.
Answer questions regarding Social Security Protocols.
Contribute and adapt to policy changes.
High School Diploma required.
Excellent phone skills required.
WPM required WPM preferred.
Ability to prioritize and stay on task.
Basic computer knowledge required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
